This poem was inspired through the helplessness of us all in light of the power of the senses.
Inhibitions and premonitions will be forgotten in a secretive garden of passion and desire.
This poem was written in 1992 for my Bernadette.
WAVES OF SEDUCTION
Billowing, blustering, engagingly enchanting
the transient passion exceeds the logic.
The skeptical scrutiny yields to mystic beauty
and upon the horizon bloom demigods chanting.
Incessant, endless and eternally gothic
stealthily, secretively, breathlessly panting
enthralled in mysterious astrologic
incantations amidst sweet revelations.
Returning is the presence of the tongues of fire
resonating bursts of lost desire.
We escape the throngs of thoughtlessness
naked scintillating we explode through barriers
into a higher consciousness.
Wispy, withering, sultry and tropic
we whisper of wonderment
inducing sensual raptures.
The bursting palpitating heart she captures.
Engulfing flames scorch a chain reaction
in a fluctuating motion of interaction.
Elusively swimming through the tempers of passion.
Never will her sumptuous sensualism turn to ashes.
